Our Year 10 and 11 students had an incredible opportunity to listen to Voices of Hope founders, Genevieve Mora and Jazz Thornton, speak about mental health at the end of Term 2.
The charity was founded in 2017 by the two women whom both have lived experience with mental illness. Since then, the charity has grown nationwide and they share their stories and share motivational messages throughout schools and workplaces.
At Pakūranga College, they shared the key message of “it’s not weak to speak” and shared stories and inspirational words to show students that they are not alone. This experience meant a lot to many students and it was a privilege to faclitate this opportunity. Thank you Voices of Hope!
