We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative leader to take on the role of Head of Faculty: Science. The position commences in Term 1, 2027.

The ideal candidate will:

• Lead the strategic vision for science within the school.
• Lead the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment.
• Coach and grow staff, lead professional learning.
• Demonstrate exemplary teaching practice and bring relevant experience to the role.
• Have a sound understanding of the science of learning.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, collaboration and high achievement.
• Ensure science programmes are engaging, inclusive and contextualised to our school community.
• Participate actively in school life, including embracing our digital learning environments and contributing to the active co-curricular life of the school.

We are seeking a passionate Mathematics teacher who will inspire and encourage our students of all abilities to achieve their goals. Pakūranga College has an extensive mathematics programme and previous experience teaching Senior Mathematics would be an advantage. The position commences at the beginning of Term 1, 2027.
