As my eyes drift open,
the sun begins to rise
with beautiful shining colours
that shows that the night has died.
I get out of bed
fearing what lies ahead
knowing that today is another day
where school is what I have to do instead.
As the day goes by,
the sun is still bright
but my head is
just not right.
Walking around,
I’m surrounded by people.
They are all smiling, and I begin to wonder
is their life really as simple as it seems?
When night appears
the stars come out.
The chaos of the day disappears as I look up
and the stars begin to shout
I close my eyes,
my head still running
thinking of everything
that is coming.
