Our Year 12 Geography students had a great trip to Tongariro National Park last weekend. We had beautiful weather as we walked 20.2km to complete the Tongariro Crossing, with the incredible landscapes and views making up for some sore legs.
As we walked, students collected data on the effect altitude has on vegetation density and variation within the Tongariro Volcanic Centre.
