The Model United Nations Assembly was a unique, fun, and educational experience. Throughout the event, we learned a lot about debating, public speaking, and how to confidently present ideas in front of others. It gave us a greater understanding of global issues and the different perspectives countries have on important topics. One of the most interesting parts was hearing the views and solutions proposed by different delegations during debates.
A huge thank you to Pakūranga Rotary for funding our trip and making this opportunity possible. Their support allowed us to take part in an experience that taught us valuable skills and broadened our understanding of the world.
If you’re interested in current events, debating, or improving your public speaking skills, come along to the UN Youth workshops in H6 every Thursday. It’s a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, and get involved in discussions about global issues.
