On Monday 10 August, 22 Senior students performed in the Stand Up Stand Out band heats at Te Oro in Glen Innes. These students made up four different bands: Glass, SoulPak, Solace, and Nesian Six, which is the largest number of bands Pakūranga College has had participate in the event.
There were 112 bands from across Auckland schools participating in the band heats throughout the entire week, so our groups were up against a lot of competition, but they all did themselves and the college proud.
