Dear 2025,
We are already more than halfway through the year, and it amazes me how quickly time flies. It feels like just yesterday when the school year started back in the summer in January – filled with fresh beginnings and the excitement of what’s ahead.
This year has been nothing short of busy, but also deeply rewarding. The energy on our school ground, the countless events, and the small everyday moments have all created memories that I will carry with me long after 2025. None of this would have been possible without every single person who makes up this school community. Together, we all create an atmosphere that feels alive and welcoming.
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to our staff and teachers. Your dedication, patience, and commitment to guiding us through challenges have not gone unnoticed. You do more than just teach – you encourage and support us all the way through. For that, I am truly grateful. You have made 2025 a year of growth and learning, not just academically, but personally as well.
I want to personally and especially show my appreciation to our 2025 Head Students. Thank you for your amazing leadership and energy; it has shaped this school year in ways that are impossible to measure. From the big things like organising events, to the small but powerful gestures like your reminders, words of wisdom and encouragement – you have been a constant source of motivation. I can’t imagine how much work you have done behind the scenes. If you ever feel that you have not done enough, please don’t, because you have done more than enough, and you have done it so well. You never failed to inspire me and so many others to step forward, to strive harder, and to believe in ourselves. I believe each of you will continue to grow into incredible leaders and people, far beyond this school. I wish you all the best for your studies and your bright future ahead.
To all my fellow students at Pakūranga College, thank you all for simply being here. Your presence and your individuality together make this community what it is. Every act of kindness and every shared moment matters more than you see.
Finally, to whoever is reading this – thank you for being here, reading this letter, at this moment.
Good luck to all the seniors for your exams!
