Congratulations to Ashwin Prasad (1993), who has been appointed as the new CEO of Tesco UK and Ireland!
Ashwin attended Pakūranga College from 1989–1993, where he was a valued member of the school whānau. After leaving the college, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts and Commerce conjoint degree at the University of Auckland before continuing his education abroad.
He earned a Master of Business Administration at Macquarie University in Australia, and later completed an Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.
Ashwin has spent almost 16 years working at Tesco, and his new role as UK Chief Executive Officer is a well-deserved appointment.
