Pakūranga College Fabric Technology students proudly took to the runway for our annual fashion show, and what a wonderful evening it was!
The event was a fantastic celebration of creativity, talent and hard work, with a wonderful turnout of parents, whānau, staff and supporters who came along to celebrate the students and their achievements. The evening showcased an exciting range of student work, beginning with garments created as part of their NCEA assessment projects, followed by our spectacular Wearable Arts pieces. We also had some fun and creative categories designed by our boys, which added plenty of energy and personality to the show.
A special highlight was the runway collection created by Sophie Wilson and Nikita Jolly, who demonstrated their creativity and design skills through a collection developed for their portfolios.
The success of the evening was made possible by the fantastic participation of our students. From designing and constructing garments to rehearsing, modelling and helping behind the scenes, our students embraced the opportunity and contributed enthusiastically to making the evening such a success.
A huge thank you also goes to our wonderful staff and whānau who supported the students throughout the process. Their encouragement and presence on the night meant so much to our students.
Congratulations to all of our Fabric Technology students — you should be incredibly proud of what you achieved! What a fabulous evening of creativity, confidence and celebration!
