We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students who recently participated in the prestigious Hanzi (Chinese Characters) Hardpen Writing Competition. Demonstrating incredible focus and artistic skill, Xinyao Jiang and Shijie Li both achieved the prestigious First Prize! Their award-winning work is currently on display at the Highland Park Library, showcasing the rich history and elegant beauty of Chinese culture and calligraphy to the wider community.
We also want to congratulate Hope He, Mia Wang, Chris Zheng, Kelvin Tong, and Defina Liu, who all received well-deserved rewards for their fantastic entries. Pakūranga College also received an Outstanding Certificate for all the high-level work our students entered in the competition. Congratulations to all of our talented participants for representing our school so brilliantly and keeping the beautiful tradition of Hanzi writing alive!
