Congratulations to Maeve McDonnel of Nīkau, who was recently named in the 2026 Swimming New Zealand National Youth Programme Age-Group Squad! This highlights all Maeve’s hard work and dedication to swimming and is an awesome opportunity to continue developing her skills.
She will be attending camp in Christchurch in the upcoming holidays with 120 other swimmers from across the country. We are so proud of you, Maeve!

Alumni Success
Ka pai tō mahi to Pakūranga College alumni Leniks Toilolo (2023) and Xavier Evaroa (2025), who have been selected to represent Auckland in U20 rugby. Leniks will be playing for the Blue team, and Xavier for the White team. What an incredible achievement, boys!
