On Thursday 29 May, the Women in Engineering programme run by the University of Auckland came to Pakūranga College to run a workshop. Students were given a presentation about the opportunities engineering can offer and what life is like for women in engineering fields. Current University of Auckland students spoke about their experiences pursuing their degrees and engaged our students in a simple engineering challenge: a race to make a robotic sphere roll through a course to win some awesome prizes!
