Our orientation for new international students was held in the McRae Library on 27 and 28 January, welcoming over 80 students joining us from China, Japan, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Argentina. Over the two days, students were introduced to our school, its values, and the support available to them as they begin their learning journey in a new environment.
Through a series of videos, games, and interactive activities, students enjoyed getting to know the school and each other. They are excited to begin their experience, connect and interact with local students, and take part in our sports and co-curricular programmes, helping to build friendships and a strong sense of belonging from the outset.
It is a pleasure to have our international students as part of our school, and we hope the wider community also enjoys the diversity and global perspective they bring. If you come across any of our international students, we encourage you to connect with them and learn more about where they are from and why they are here. We would like to sincerely thank everyone for their continued support of our international students.
