Teacher of Special Education
Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for a qualified teacher who is passionate, caring and enthusiastic to work in our learning support department. This department caters for wonderful and vibrant students from Year 9–13+, with a range of special needs and talents.
The candidate could have experience in special education, but this is not a necessity. Suitable applicants will have an interest in working with students who have various social, emotional and behavioural needs. Primary or secondary trained teachers are welcome to apply. It is essential that the candidate is flexible with the needs of our students and ready to deliver authentic learning programmes. A positive attitude is a must and a sense of humour is just as important. Excellent people skills are a necessity.

Teacher Aides – Pegasus Learning Centre
Fixed Term, Term Time Only
Pakuranga College is seeking to employ two Teacher Aides to work in the Pegasus Learning Centre, part of our Special Education Department.
These are fixed term positions for 30 hours per week during secondary term time only.
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement and this position has been graded as Grade B and the hourly rate will be based on experience.
