Faculty Assistant

Permanent Position, Term Time Only

 

Pakuranga College is seeking to employ a faculty assistant to work across several of our Facilities providing administration support.

This is a permanent position for 25 hours per week, term time only. There may be additional hours at times to meet critical deadlines.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement and this position has been graded as Grade C.

The position will include tasks such as:

  • Working across several departments
  • Administration Support
  • Budget monitoring and review
  • Receive and process invoices for sign off
  • Textbook/Resource stocktakes and issue
  • Photocopying
  • Ordering of Resources
  • Assist with online moderation process
  • Assisting the Faculty staff as required

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • The ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – verbal and written
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Planning & organisational skills
  • A can do attitude

Application Guidelines Faculty Assistant

 

 

Assistant Librarian – Cataloguer

Permanent Position, Term Time Only

 

Pakuranga College is seeking to employ an Assistant Librarian to work in our Library.

This is a permanent position for 21 hours per week, term time only.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement and this position has been graded as Grade B.

The position will include tasks such as:

  • Professionally cataloguing books and resources
  • Serving students and staff for circulation and desk duties
  • Processing books such as tattling and dust jackets
  • Display of newspaper articles
  • Assist students with computer logons and printing
  • Library stocktaking

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • The ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – verbal and written
  • Flexibility to assist in other areas of the Library
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Planning & organisational skills
  • Experience with Library cataloguing
  • Eligibility for LIANZA membership
  • A can do attitude

We are looking for a teacher with special talent to work in our Pegasus Unit.

The Pegasus Unit supports the learning of students with special needs/talents.

This position commences Term 2 or by negotiation.

The successful candidate must be willing to embrace our digital learning environment and to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.
