Last week, our school celebrated Careers Week with a series of engaging lunchtime Q&A sessions hosted by different faculties. The events were proudly organised and run by our team of student Careers Ambassadors, who did a fantastic job co-ordinating and promoting each session. Students had the opportunity to hear from professionals (and college alumni!) who use school subjects in real-world careers.
A total of six faculties took part in the week, hosting 15 inspiring guest speakers. The Social Sciences Faculty welcomed a government relations specialist and a lawyer, while the Mathematics Department featured an aircraft maintenance engineer and a senior civil engineer. Each session offered valuable insights into the guests’ career journeys, with students enjoying the chance to ask questions and hear fascinating stories from the world of work.
A huge thank you to all the students who attended and participated so enthusiastically, and to our generous guests for giving their time to support and inspire our learners.
