On Friday June 22, students from level 1 and 3 Te Reo Māori travelled to Nukuhau Marae in Taupō to sit their speaking assessments. The trip was a two night Marae stay. Students managed to improve their knowledge and understanding of Te Reo as part of the trip was only to be speak in Te Reo Māori. Students also managed to enjoy a lake cruise, visit famous tourism spots such as the Ngātoroirangi Rock Carving at Mine Bay, Huka Falls and a relaxing swim at the Wairakei Terraces.
