04 May Wayfinding Designers a Way of the Future
Friends of the Art Department, Sophie and Jordan from Maynard Design Consultancy, visited the school on Thursday 27 April to speak to Year 13 Design students.
Sophie and Jordan discussed their line of work as wayfinding designers and the various large-scale design projects they are part of, such as the Auckland City Rail Link and the Auckland Airport. Their presentation was inspiring and insightful, expanding students’ understanding of how design thinking can be practiced in the real world.
