Tree Planting for Trees for Survival

24 May Tree Planting for Trees for Survival

On Tuesday 15th of May, 1500 trees were planted by the Environmental Council’s Trees For Survival group, along with a class from Pakuranga Intermediate. It was amazing for everyone to see their hard work and time spent during their lunchtimes, become something meaningful. Come along to Trees For Survival every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime to be a part of this exciting environmental restoration process. You will be able to grow trees from the seedling stage and then join in on planting those trees on a breath taking property.

A special thank you to the property owners for their generous hospitality as well as the members of the Rotary Club for their endless support with supplying the soil to grow these plants and the great team from Auckland Council. Moreover, a big thank you to Ms Thomas and Mrs Merchant for helping with transport and all the support throughout the year.
