28 Mar The Wave
It’s satisfying going underneath a crashed wave,
Not feeling anything but the serene smooth water around me,
Encapsulating me,
Holding me,
As I know the wave thunders down above my head,
It’s like I can forget it’s there,
Ignore its presence,
And sail safely beneath,
But what if I raised my head up just the slightest,
Feel the wave crash upon my face,
Hear the loud whispers within it,
The untold truths,
The problem at its source,
Feel the full entirety of its power,
Will it break me?
Or will it be satisfying all the same?
