31 Mar Stream Clean for Sea Week
The Environmental Council took part in Sea Week from the 8-12 of March. This event aims to raise awareness about environmental issues around our oceans.
As part of Sea Week we held a stream clean. Both Service Council and Environmental Council members teamed up to help clean the stream at the bottom of the school field. In just one lunchtime we collected over two rubbish bags of litter as well as a traffic cone, two footballs and a child’s trike! This stream clean has only highlighted to us the importance of taking care of our environment because the litter at our school has a direct impact on our oceans.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us to clean up our stream!
