Pegasus Students Plant Trees

19 Jun Pegasus Students Plant Trees

On Monday 17th June, students from the Pegasus Unit spent three productive hours planting native grasses and manuka trees at Mangemangeroa Reserve.

We have been doing this for several years now and it is lovely to work with one of the past teachers from the unit, Warwick Kitchen, who dedicates a lot of his time towards tree planting and other environmental endeavors.  It was a successful day and the students learnt about the environment, whilst also giving back to the community.
