08 Dec Pegasus Student Graduation
On Friday 3rd December the Pegasus Department held a graduation and farewell for five of our wonderful students. We had a lovely event in our brand-new learning space and were fortunate to be able to extend an invite to the parents of our graduates to help us celebrate the day. A few students and whanau also joined us via Zoom.
It was an emotional day that was full of joy, sadness and best wishes. All of the graduating students spoke and expressed their thanks and gratitude towards the college and especially to the staff of the Pegasus Department.
It was an honor to be part of the farewell that included two of our house leaders, Katrina Lee and Joshua Koteka. They will be sorely missed by their Houses and Deans and the rest of the college community. We also had the privilege of saying farewell to our other wonderful graduates Amy Hanham, Caleb Groenestein and Emma McKie.
We will miss our students’ energy, humor, fun, reality checks and kindness throughout the years. We are all very proud of how they have matured and progressed. While we will miss them, we encourage them to embrace the growth and challenges that their new adventures will bring them.
