Peer Leadership Camps

27 Feb Peer Leadership Camps

Peer Leadership Camps are a highlight of the year for our Year 9 students. They are a fantastic opportunity to make friends and get to know the peer support leaders that will be a big part of each student’s Pakuranga College whanau:

“Matai Peer Support Camp was an unforgettably positive experience for the Year 9s and the Peer Support Leaders.  We moved out of our comfort zones to experience new activities that excited and challenged us, and gave us such a great sense of accomplishment.  Students supported and encouraged each other which helped form new friendships and bonds.  The house spirit spread positive energy which gave our Year 9s the feeling of what a true house Whanau is like.”

Lucy Sutton, House Captain
