North Island Orienteering Championships

On 17th and 18th October, Year 13 student Louis Hewitson-Townley participated in the North Island Secondary Schools Orienteering Championships.

He ran in the Senior Boys Sprint grade for Pakuranga College and came 5th place, putting him in 5th position for the North Island Secondary Schools within Orienteering New Zealand.

This weekend, Louis will also be running in the NZO Champs (New Zealand Orienteering Champs), running in the middle and sprint grades for Senior Boys. This event this will be in Foxton Beach and Levin on the 25th and 26th.
