05 Dec Haunui Waka Trip
Toia Haunui tapotu ki te moana, mā wai e tō? Mā Pakuranga e tō!!
On November 12, Year 9 and 10 Māori students had the great privilege of working together to sail the Waitemata harbour onboard Haunui Waka.
Students were busy learning key voyaging skills such as knot tying and navigation, as well as leading and working together.
This was all topped off with lunch and a swim in the harbour.
Thank you to skipper John Reid and the Te Toki Voyaging Trust for another great year!
