This event is for Year 13 students currently enrolled in the school.
Students are to complete the Code of Conduct form and hand it into the student office before the end of the day, Wednesday 9 September 2020. Code of Conduct forms will not be accepted if incomplete and will be returned and ticket money refunded.
Currently enrolled means presently attending. Students who have left the school this year may not attend as of right, though they may apply to attend as outside partners. Students with high levels of unjustified absence will not be able to purchase a ticket.
Students may apply to bring outside partners from Year 12 and above. If students wish to bring a Year 12 student from Pakuranga College they must apply for them to come as an outside partner and follow the process. The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any partners they may think unsuitable for attendance at the ball. Students will complete an application form to gain permission to bring an outside partner.
A recent ID photograph of outside partners is required. You will need to attach the recent photo of your partner to your application when you present it to the Student Office (beforeWednesday 9 September 2020). Application forms will not be accepted if incomplete.
No expelled or excluded students, or students who have a trespass order against them will be permitted to attend either as paying students or as partners.
All students and partners attending the ball must sign the agreed Code of Conduct before tickets are provided. (Parents also sign.)
The code of conduct for the ball will be according to school rules. No drugs or alcohol shall be brought to the ball. No student or partner is to be admitted under the influence of any drug or alcohol. No student or partner shall smoke or vape. Security staff at the venue will screen and breath test all guests coming into the ball.
This is a private function and should any student or partner not comply with the Code of Conduct, the Principal has the right to have the student and partner leave the ball without refund of money paid and to take further disciplinary action as required.
The school takes responsibility only for the duration of the ball, ie. from the beginning to the end of the ball at the venue. The school does not acknowledge the need for any event before or after the ball. Such events as may take place are private functions only and are the responsibility of the parents.
Tickets, $110.00 each, are to be paid for between 28 Septemberand 16 October 2020.
Students must take responsibility for their transport to and from the ball and if they book a seat on the bus that brings students back to school from the ball they must take responsibility for getting on the bus promptly at the end of the ball. Buses leave at 12.10am to be back at school by 12.30am. The cost of $8.00. is to be paid at the time of paying for the Ball ticket.
All monies can be paid online and a form for this will be available at the Student Centre from Friday 18 September.
