As a means of connecting with each student’s tutor teacher, Pakuranga College hosts ‘Meet the Tutor’ evenings for parents and caregivers. The tutor teacher will share some important information with you and provide you the opportunity to raise any queries/questions that you may have.
This is also an opportunity for us to begin building strong relationships with yourself to ensure that we support students in their educational journey. The tutor teacher will be the ‘significant adult’ in a student’s school life at Pakuranga College and your first point of contact.
The ‘Meet the Tutor’ evenings are split as follows:
Monday 15th February – Pohutukawa House; Nikau House; Totara House
Monday 22nd February – Rimu House; Kauri House; Matai House
Kindly attend on the day/date that is scheduled (above) for your child’s House only. The evenings begin at 7.00 pm in the school hall, and thereafter you will be broken up into House groups to then meet with the tutor teacher. The evening should be over by 8.00 pm. There is no need to bring students along, but feel free to do so if you prefer.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact your child’s Dean or tutor teacher.
If you can't find what you are looking for on this website, or if you want to contact us directly for a specific reason, please feel free to use this 'Parent Help Desk' form to contact us.
The appropriate person will respond to your enquiry within 24 hours from Monday to Friday.
