EPro8 Challenge Success

21 Aug EPro8 Challenge Success

We recently took a Year 9 and a Year 10 team to compete in the regional heats of the EPro8 Challenge at Rosehill College. This is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) challenge, where students worked in teams of 4 to complete a range of projects. Each project had a number of ‘add-ons’ that increased the point values.

Year 9 team:

  • Joshua Kao
  • Alexis Usal
  • Jack Bardin
  • James Slessor

Year 10 team:

  • Beth Cutler
  • Alanah Munn
  • Jeremy Ishi
  • Renee Veltmann

Both teams demonstrated effective Pakuranga College learning habits, whereby they CONNECTed as a team to STRIVE  to CREATE several interactive projects, each winning their respective heats. This has qualified both teams for the Auckland Final at the end of the month. Watch this space!
