Anzacs Remembered

Yesterday we paid our respects to those who served, with an Anzac Remembrance Service. A special thanks to our guest speaker Mr Ray Sangster, a Pakuranga College alum and member of the Howick RSA, for his beautifully spoken words reflecting on Gallipoli and the work of the Returned Services Association.

Students from the Pegasus Learning Centre have also enjoyed learning about the importance of Anzac Day to New Zealanders. In their groups they worked hard to create some beautiful Anzac wreaths, which are now proudly displayed in the classroom.
