26 May 12PEO Go Bush
Our Year 12 PEO students have just completed a 4-day tramp in the beautiful New Zealand bush at Whirinaki. The hike included 34kms of hills and valleys, over 80 different river crossings, and braving -1 degree temperatures! Each student was tasked with half a day of leading their group, working towards credits in both Leadership and Social Responsibility. The tramp was extremely challenging, however, the rewards were also huge with everyone individually and as a group becoming stronger, more resilient, and learning lifelong lessons. Thank you to the wonderful staff who gave up their time to make this trip possible.
