This course offers students the opportunity to learn skills in the Information and Computer Science area of computing. The content covered forms the foundation for the course at level 2.

This course continues on from the level one digital information course.

Prerequisites: 11CIT completed during the previous year and level 1 literacy
Due to changes currently being made to level 2 standards by NZQA, there may be some minor changes to this course in 2012.


Level 2 Beginners Computing and Information Technology (12BCT)

This course is designed for students who have not taken 11CIT and would like to develop basic computer skills in a range of software programs
